collaboration with Lucia Gugerli
in the blazing heat of Vienna’s summer 2024, destiny brought Lucia and lisa together at ImPulsTanz, where they would plunge into the fervent five-week odyssey of DanceWEB and ATLAS.
the festival’s tight structure pushed them toward the periphery, where they discovered a shared desire for pushing boundaries and goading each other toward a genuine sense of liberation and the flourishing that comes from being wrong.
their first collaboration took shape in october 2025 with the performance skyquake, created in partnership with PAV Living Room in Geneva, following a residency at Appartement Témoin.
skyquake is developed from the specific site in which it is performed: an empty office complex in Geneva's industrial area. Playing with codes of technical language, the precise, almost documentary descriptions of both exterior and interior spaces gradually slip into a sensitive derision of what connects body and architecture, speech and space. these shifts reveal the humor and fragility of any attempt to master a place, while allowing diverted and offbeat scenes from everyday life to emerge. skyquake inhabits the site as a field of attention, where space becomes support, interlocutor, and play partner, and inhabiting becomes an act of research.
